Philodendron bipinnatifidum, commonly known as Tree Philodendron or Philodendron Selloum, is a bold tropical plant admired for its deeply divided foliage and expansive, sculptural form. Native to the tropical regions of South America, this species thrives in bright indoor environments and sheltered outdoor settings, making it a popular feature in residential interiors and large indoor landscapes. The plant produces large, glossy green leaves with dramatic lobed edges that radiate outward from thick central stems, creating a lush, architectural canopy. As it matures, the plant develops a broad, spreading habit that brings strong visual presence and texture to interior plant compositions. Indoors, Tree Philodendron typically grows to around 1.5–3 metres in height, forming a substantial focal point within rooms and open-plan spaces. With its dramatic foliage and tropical character, it adds depth and vibrancy to contemporary interiors and indoor planting schemes.
