Carnegiea gigantea, commonly known as the Saguaro Cactus, is an iconic desert species renowned for its towering form and distinctive branching silhouette. Native to the Sonoran Desert of North America, this remarkable cactus has become a symbol of arid landscapes and xeriscape design. The plant features a tall, columnar trunk with prominent vertical ribs that create strong texture and visual rhythm, while mature specimens develop upward-curving arms that contribute to its instantly recognisable appearance.
